A global pharmaceutical company engaged Maxiom Group to implement a new planning and budgeting application.

Maxiom Group worked with the client to identify requirements for their global budgeting process, reviewed their current budgeting approach and tools and tailored the approach for the new process. We then configured and tested the new application for P&L, balance sheet and cash flow budgeting. We assisted in training client finance personnel in the ongoing use of the tool, developed, and rolled out a training and deployment program for department managers and budgetary owners throughout the global operation. The result of the project was a new system that accelerated the development of budgets, had flexibility for iterative planning and budgeting and met with a high degree of user acceptance among finance and department managers.
