An emerging biotechnology company retained Maxiom Group to develop a strategic roadmap to guide its investment in information technology applications to support its business as it transforms to commercial operations.

Maxiom Group worked with the management team and functional leaders to review and validate the company's strategic direction, key expected milestones and current processes and approaches. We then identified and prioritized key enterprise and departmental needs and identified appropriate IT applications that would best support the business as it evolves. We then developed a time-phased roadmap with specific "triggers" that would initiate necessary investments and worked with the senior management team to the strategy. Through this plan, the senior management, functional leaders and the IT department are aligned on key IT investments and are better able to transform themselves into a commercial company.
